While a student at the University of Hawaii, I picked up a used Yamaha Twin 100 motorcycle. It didn't have a lot of power, but I didn't need to go very far or very fast on Oahu. It was great fun driving around the island and up into the mountains.
I was on the Mainland when my roommates saw some guys loading it in a van and called the cops. They caught them 2 blocks away and busted them. What a bunch of boneheads.
