After a few days of
seasonal rains, the weather made a turn for the better. The Bay
Area and Livermore area was covered in fog early on, but after we left
the Ness Shop at 10:00, we had
sunny skys and warm temps. We mustered 5 Volusias, 1 HD Road King, and
1 Victory ( He thought we were the Victory group heading North. He
probably had a better ride with us anyway). The roads were in good
shape and the traffic light. We forded two streams on the way to The Junction where we stopped for
burgers. We had the quick tour of the Lick
Observatory and then proceeded down the hill into San Jose.
This was a great ride and a great group of fellow riders.
