Santa Cruz Mountains Big Trees Ride Report

Mustering the group at the starting place

Another successful ride! We were a group of 8 riders on 7 bikes.  The weather was perfect, a cool 65° at the starting point  and in the upper 80's at Boulder Creek. The ride lasted about 4½ hours and took us through some beautiful mountain countryside.  There were a few patches of bumpy roads, but on the whole the roads were an endless series of sweeping mountain twisties. We stopped a few times for breaks and arrived at Mount Madonna Park around 14:30. The barbecue was soon lit and the food on the table.  This was a nice way to end a good day of group riding. My thanks to Gary, for leading, and to everyone who participated.
