Radio
Caddy Fairing
I've
thought about adding a fairing for some time. It seemed hard to justify
the high cost and installation hassle for the increased protection.
Recently a member of the Volusia
Riders Forum shared information about
a low cost after market fairing. It is called a "Radio Caddy
Fairing" and is sold by Jireh
Cycles.
The
cost delivered to my door was $357.00. This is in my budget and would
be a nice Spring project. I would need to make some custom mounting
brackets and paint it to match my bike. I had most of the
needed
materials left over from previous projects, so it would mainly take
about 20 hours of my labor to make this happen. Here is the result.
