Hardbag Bracket rebuild
I have never like the way my National Cycle hardbags looked on my bike. They are too high and stick out too much. This had much to do with the twin stock Volusia pipes taking up a lot of real-estate. Changing the pipes to a Roadhouse Classic 2 to 1 set left me with about 4 inches of space between the muffler and the right hardbag.
I did a variation on Carbon_One's HB mod. I wanted to bring the bags inward and as low as possible. I ended up bring the bags inward about 1.5 inches and down 2.5 inches. This has made a huge difference in the look of the bike.

This is how the bags should ride IMHO.
On the next few pages I'll show what I did and have a full scale image, that when printed, can be used as a full scale pattern.
