Removing
the rear wheel, for tire replacement, on the Silver Wing is quite easy.
It only requires a few tools and removal of only a few parts. Here are
the steps.
# Remove the Muffler #
Loosen the 2 bottom bolts
Remove top bolt and backing nut.
Muffler cannister should slide off exhaust manifold.
# Loosen rear axle nut #
Have bike on side-stand and set the parking brake.
Use the 27mm socket and torque wrench to loosen the nut.
Do not remove yet.
# Put bike back on the center-stand #
