This is my lite weight epoxied-on neck/body joint. I've used it on 11 ukes with good success so far. Will it last 100 years? Maybe, but who cares. I'm building for the best tone and sound in the here and now. If I were building for the long haul, I'd bolt together much thicker stock, use laminated materials, and seal it in a thick coat of lacquer. The sound would be atrocious, but it would last a hundred years.
