One of my innovative ideas for this build is to use the internal framework for the bending jig. This will save time and money by eliminating the need to build a dedicated bending form. I don't see why this would not work for a standard guitar shaped reso guitar build. It might also work for a ukulele build if you have the proper sized clamps.
