This is the design stage of my Formica Ukulele project. This ukulele is envisioned as a quick and dirty test bed for a few ideas I've been kicking around.
Martin Guitars makes a "Little Martin" model that has a Formica type body and plywood parts. It has amazingly good volume and tone. I have some formica scraps leftover from my recent kitchen remodel. I thought that this would be fitting for my first ukulele. We'll see.
