I attached the transducer with epoxy. K&K suggest using super glue with theirs. This makes for near perfect energy transmission from the SB to the transducer. I'm using a dowel with some sticky putty to put, and hold, the transducer into it's mounting position. This would all be much more difficult without a side sound port to work through.
